i started out teaching as a part time instructor in an art center.i found that i really enjoyed the interaction with the students.i found it a way to keep my thought process fresh.i earned two masters degrees.this allowed me to became a full time art professor .there was never a semester where i didnt learn something from a beginning art student .i offer 6-8 week sessions at various times of year.i find this helps keep me current
we like to offer workshops to the public several time a year.this is an opportunity to share techniques and ideas in a group learning situation
I am so lucky to get to play in the mud.i love how the plastic characteristics of the clay allow me to enhance my creative process.i get to create surfaces and shapes that recall my travels and thoughts.when i get bored,as i do,the clay allows me to change direction.i could do something different every day and not turn back.there is always something new to learn.
